Merida Big Nine 15

In MY20 we took stick for using a frame with external cable routing at the entry level. The 15D was unfavourably compared to prettier internally cabled frames from the competition. The Shimano hubs, Shimano hydraulic brakes and Shimano chainset didn’t get a mention! For MY21 we’ve upgraded all Big Nine and Big Seven to a new TFS frame with internal cable routing and very low stand over height but as you would expect we have kept our same Shimano led high quality approach. There are just 4 bikes in the range, the 15 keeps the reduced margin structure – 5%, the 20 gets upgraded to 2x, the 40 is gone, replaced by a 60 with 2x and a Rock Shox Judy fork. The range topping 80 uses the new Shimano 1 x 12 drivetrain and Rock Shox Judy fork. The 80 has a 2.5% reduced margin to keep RRP as low as possible
